Zoological Gardens, The, are beautifully situated (since 1830) in the PHOENIX-PARK, and possess a very fair collection of animals, the lions being quite the finest to be seen in captivity. [...] The Lord Roberts House was erected in 1902 ; it houses lions and tigers, and has open-air cages at the sunny side.
