Volume 8
Volume 8 of the RSAI's Du Noyer Collection contains 214 sketches and watercolours. A number of items are undated, with the earliest year being 1839 and the latest year being 1863. There are images from Counties Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Antrim, Fermanagh, Derry, Tyrone, Limerick, Waterford, Cork, Dublin, Tipperary, Kerry, Wexford, Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Laois. Additionally, there are a few images from Somerset and Chester in Engand and Paris, France.
Subjects in Volume 8 include architecture, landscapes, maritime scenes, geological features, crosses, monuments, still life, portraits, flora and fauna, artefacts, inscriptions, correspondences, and iconography.
