Description

Lantern slide of The Dublin University Museum, Trinity College. Originally labeled 'D3 II 10' with title ' Taylor circa 1820.' The museum was formed in 1777, and in its history has seen many curators and directors. Until 1875, the Geological and Zoological Collections were housed in Regent House (pictured). The collections were then transferred to the purpose built Museum Building. The slide depicts a scene from the museum and was drawn and etched by W.B. Taylor, London, 1819.
