Description
Lantern slide of the tomb of Sir Christopher Barnewall and wife, Lusk, Co. Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 III 12' and with the title 'Barnwall Tomb - Lusk.' Located in St Macullin's Church (DU008-010004-) this effigy depicts Sir Christopher Barnewall and his wife dated 1589. Both husband and wife are sculpted in high relief and hold their hands together in a pious manner. Family heraldry decorate the base of the tomb.
