Lantern slide of a cursing stone rock, Co. Fermanagh. Originally labeled '3 F' with title 'Stone with Hallows for Cursing Stones, Co. Fer.' Also known as bullaun, these rather ambiguous stones were believed to hold magical and religious powers. Characterised by their large hemispherical depressions, these can be dated to megalithic times, although they are usually associated with a monestery. These bullauns come in various shapes and sizes.
