Lantern slide depicting a cross in Monasterboice, Co. Louth. Originally titled 'Monasterboice' and labelled 'L5 29'. The monument is found in an old monastic settlement in Monasterboice. The image is of a cross known both as The Tall Corss and The Western Cross. It is the tallest cross of this type in Ireland. It has various iconography on it which depict various Christan parables. In the slide, a small figure, most probably a child, can be seen standing beside the cross.
