Lantern slide of an illustration of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 IV 62' and without a title. Christ Church was founded by the Norse king, Sitriuc Silkenbeard c.1030. The structure we seen today dates to 1172 when it was constructed under Archbishop O'Toole and the Norman knight Richard de Clare, also known as Strongbow. In the illustration there are a number of people infront of the cathedral, including two on horse back.
