Description

A Lantersn slide depicting the entrance to Findlater's Church , Parnell Square, Dublin. The church is a Presbyterian Church, decorated in the Gothic style. The site for the Church was bought by a Dublin merchant named Alexander Findlater. The opening services were held in November 1864. The church measures 90 ft. in length, and 50 ft. in breadth, and is divided on either side by two stone piers.The architect was a Mr. Heiton, of Perth. In the foreground can be seen two women, one holding an umbrella, and a man walking towards the entrance to the Church. Originally catalogued as 'D 3 VIII 68' with no further labelling.
