Description

Lantern slide of St. Fintan's Church, Sutton, Co. Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 III 31' and with the title 'S. Fintan's Howth.' It appears that this is an Early-Norman church with later medieval redevelopments. Known as St. Fintan's, the church is rectangular in plan and is entered through a doorway on the west. Most prominent of its features is the single bellcote located on the west gable. A man can be seen standing next to the ruins.
