Опис
Lantern slide of a drawing of Powerscourt House, South William Street, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 III 87' and without a title. The building was designed by Richard Cassels and was to serve as a residential property for Richard Wingfield, the third Viscount Powerscourt. It was built between 1771-74 and contains many decorative features including the elaborately decorated staircase with intricate woodwork and plasterwork. In the drawing the street is bustling and there are a number of pedestrians and horses and carriages.
