Beschrijving
Lantern slide of a carved stone figure, Killadeas, Co. Fermanagh. Originally labeled as '63 F' with title 'Killadeas 10.' This stone is carved on the west side with a human head and on the south side (pictured) with a portrait of an Ecclesiastic who is either a bishop or an abbott. It would appear that these carvings have two diferent dates and would have had different purposes before it found its place in Killadeas. The figure depicted can be seen walking along with a crozier and bell in hand. Also prominent in the slide is an insription that runs along the back of the figure. It has been translated by Dr. Macalister as a name that reads 'Robartach.' Since this inscriptions for neither a prayer of blessing makes it hard to understand its original purpose.
