Lanter slide of a painting titled 'Devenish Island.' Originally labeled ' 64 F' with title 'devenish18th Century Oil Painting. Florencecourt.' The painting is credited to the 18th century Irish school and is oil painting on canvas. Depicted in the painting are the landmarks on the island including, the Round Tower, St. Mary's Augustinian Abbey and St. Molaise's House. The image is credited to the National Trust Photographic Library and Bridgeman Images. This site was founded by St. Molaise in Lower Lough Erne in the 1st century A.D.
