Description

Lantern slide of stucco work found at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 32' and without a title. The hospital pictured was located at St. Stephen's Green in the inner city centre. It was founded in 1834 by Mother Mary Aikenhead and only moved to its current site in Elm Park in 1970. The stucco is follows a canopy design with foliage running up either side. Framed by this border is another floral motif that includes roses and vines.
