Lantern slide depicting a handdrawn image of the capitals on the chancel arch of the Church of Saint Carthage, Co. Offaly. Originally titled 'RAHAN. Chan. Pier. T. MASON DUBLIN' and labelled 'K4 47'. The image depicts the Church of Saint Carthage which is located in the monastic site in Rahan. The monument dates back to the 12th Century making it one of the oldest church still being used for service in Ireland. The image depicts the decorated capitals that can be found on the triple ordered chancel arch inside of the church.
