Lantern slide depicting the doorway if the Nun's Church in Clonmacnoise monastic settlement, Co. Offaly. Originally titled 'Clonmacnoise Nuns A Ikl' and labelled 'K4 38'. The image is of the decorative geometric engravings around the archway of the Nun's Church, a Hiberno-Romanesque style monument built in c. 1020. The arch was reconstructed in the 19th century. The monument was built by Dearbhforgaill-Dervorgilla, the wife of Tighearnan O Rourke the King of Breifne.
