Lantern slide depicting the right side arch on the doorway of the Nun's Church in Clonmacnoise monastic site in Clonmacnoise, Co. Offaly. Originally titled 'Nun's CH. CLONMACNOISE' and labelled 'K4 8'. The slide is damaged, with two cracks running the horizontally across the bottom of the slide. The image of the decorative geometric engravings around the archway of the Nun's Church, a Hiberno-Romanesque style monument built in c. 1020. The arch was reconstructed in the 19th century. The monument was built by Dearbhforgaill-Dervorgilla, the wife of Tighearnan O Rourke the King of Breifne.
