Lantern slide of Cuchullins Leap at Loop Head, Co. Clare. Originally catalogued with labels 'C3 28', 'T. Mason, 5, Dame Street, Dublin' and 'Cuchullins Leap, Loop Head, Co. Clare. 1907.' Depicted is a far away view of lighthuse on Cuchullins Leap at Loop Head. So named after Cuchulainn the Hound of Ulster and the leader of The Red Branch Knights escaped the clutches of a scorned wise woman by leaping to a nearby island. Other spelling: Cuchulainn's Leap.
