This image of Christ Church is taken from The History And Antiquities Of The City Of Dublin, From The Earliest Accounts by Walter Harris (1766) and depicts Christ Church Cathedral. Christ Church was founded by the Norse king, Sitriuc Silkenbeard c.1030. The structure we seen today dates to 1172 when it was constructed under Archbishop O'Toole and the Norman knight Richard de Clare, also known as Strongbow.
