Lantern Slide of a standing stone in Glencolumbkille, Co Donegal.This is station 2 of the Gleann Cholm Cille Turas, a religious procession that incorporates 15 diferent stations within 9 different townlands of DonegalThe slide has been originally catalogued as number 36 beside a label reading, 'Glencolumbkille. Straid, west face.' Printed on the slide is 'Cross at Church, Glencolumbcill, (West View) R.W. 1354.' It stands 1.85m tall, High cross-inscribed schist stone pillar that stands at the top of a small rock outcrop. beneath the pillar are remains of a dry stone altar.
