Опис

Depicts a close-up view of the saloon ceiling in No. 85, Newman House. The stucco work depicts classical scenes of gods and allegorical figures, including Justice in the centre, with Juno and Iris to one side and Minerva to the other. There is additional rococo style borders and decorations, such as garlands, foliage, and cherubs. The University was founded in 1854 and was the precursor of University College Dublin.
