Lantern slide of Mulhuddart holy well, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels "No. 3 Holy Well M. Hiddart" and "D3XI" and "40." Depicts a close-up view of the Mulhuddart holy well house (also known as Our Lady's Well, Mulhuddart) with its inscribed gable visible on top of the roof. Mulhuddart, from the Irish Mullach Eadrad (which means 'mound of the milking') was upkept by the Order of the Guild of the Blessed Virgin Mary (formed by Henry VI) until his death. The well house was built by the Grace Dieu nuns in the 18th century.
