Lantern slide of St. Finian's Church, Newcastle-Lyons, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels "Newcastle Lyons" and "D3XI 98" and "Thomas H. Mason, 5-6, Dame St., Dublin, C.I." Depicts an exterior view of St. Finian's Church, with the fortified tower in view. The full height of the building is visible, but partially obscured by a wall and foliage at its base. The church building dates from 1400 and was one of six fortified tower houses from that era.
