Description

Lantern slide of Trinity College Dublin, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels "TCD Chapel Leask" and "D3XI 85." Depicts a view of the Chapel in Trinity College's campus, with the front square (Parliament Square) visible in the foreground. The chapel was designed by Sir William Chambers in 1798, to match the examination hall opposite it. Typical of Georgian architecture, the facade of the chapel is designed to look like a classical temple.
