Opis
Lantern slide of a view of Ireland's Eye, Co. Dublin. Originally labeled ' D3 II 95' and with the title 'Howth. Ireland's Eye - Co. Dublin.' Ireland's Eye is a small island located near Howth of the coast of Dublin. Currently it is a bird sanctuary and is home to ruins of St. Nessans Church, a 6th-century monastery. Also located on the island is a Martello tower dating from the 19th century. In the foreground of the slide a number of people can be seen walking along a path. Views of a Martello tower and Howth Harbour can also be seen in the slide.
