Descrição

Lantern slide of a marble arch, Co. Fermanagh. Originally labeled '5 G' with title "Marble Arches Co. Fer.' The arch is located in the now Marble Arch Geopark located within Cavan and Fermanagh. These caves are world renowned and are recognised by UNESCO. There have been fossils located within the park dating from 650 million years ago. The cave was avoided by locals due to superstition and fear, and it wasn't until 1895 when two explorers unearthed the site's wonders. A man can be seen at the entrance to the cave in the slide.
