Lantern slide of a group of children at Dun Angus, Co. Galway. Originally labeled '85 G' with title 'Aran Dun Angus B II.' Known locally as Dœn Aonghasa, this is an large cliff-top fort the follows a rough D-shaped plan. The fort is enclosed by three semicircular stone ramparts including a series of defensive stones known as a 'Chevaux de Frise.' Excavations undergone in the early 20th century revealed that settlement on the site dated as far back as c. 1500 B.C. The slide shows 5 children, four boys and one girl, visiting Dun Angus.
