Lantern slide of a group of thatched cottages with children standing in front, Claddagh, Co. Galway. Originally labeled '44 G' with label "The Claddagh Galway." It was originally a fishing village but in the 19th century the village started to attract many visitors. Pictured is a group of cottages that were part of the original village that were knocked down in the 1930's and replaced with modern dwellings. In front of the cottage are a young boy and girl.
