Lantern slide of the Nathenial Sneyd Monument, Dublin. Orignally labeled 'D3 83' and without a title. Found in the crypt of Christ Church Cathedral, this sculpture is a meorial to Nathaniel Sneyd. The monument was created by Thomas Kirk and is described as a life-sized marble neoclassical effigy. Depicted is a dead man lying beneath a weeping female figure. Sneyd was a member of the Parliament of Ireland and was shot in the head by a madman on Westmoreland Street, 1883.
