Lantern slide of Earl St, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 81' with title 'St. from Nelson's Pillar, Dublin.' This image was taken from the viewing gallery of Nelson's Pillar located on O'Connell Street. This granite pillar was built in 1808/9 and is topped by a statue of Horatio Nelson. It survied until 1966, when it was bommed. It is now the site of the Spire of Dublin. The street in view here is Earl St with its many shops and business.
