Lantern slide of a fireplace found at No. 53 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 54' with title ' S. Stephen's Green. No. 53. 1771.' The fireplace is richely decorated with classical influences. Decoration includes garlands and other foliate designs, urns and figures. At the top of the fireplace there is a scene containing what looks like to be nude chldren - perhaps cupids. They are all preforming various actions such as playing instruments or reclining in comfort. No. 53 was home to St Vincent's Hospital and is now the location of Loreto College.
