Description

Lantern slide of a map of the city of Dublin. Originally labeled 'D 52' and without a title. On the slide it reads 'A map of the walled city of Dubline To illustrate the antiquarian remains. Publised in the Irish Builder Vol. XXII 1881.' At the centre of the map is Christ Church cathedral with surrounding streets and buildings. All of these are enclosed by the city walls. Some locations mentioned are Dublin Castle and St. Audeon's church.
