Lantern slide of stucco work found at 24 Rutland Square, Dublin. Orignially labeled 'D3 49' with title '24 Rutland Square'. Pictured is an eagle with with large splayed wings. It appears to be either perched, or holding something in its claws. Rutland Square, now called Parnell Square, is a Georgian square located in the north inner city. The name Rutland referred to the park in the centre of the square that was named after Charles Manners, fourth Duke of Rutland and Lord Lieutenant 1784-87.
