Descrição

Latern slide of a ground plan of the current bank of Ireland, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 25', with title 'Plan of Parliament House.' This was the first purpose built Parliament House in the world. The original building was designed by Edward Pearce and was constructed between 1729-1739. The house of Lords is entered by the east portico which was added by James Gandon between 1785 and 1787. This was connected to Pearce's work by a curtain screen wall. The slides shows that each room has been marked by a letter and is referenced by a key on both left and right of the slide.
