Description

Lantern slide of the interior of Bank of Ireland, College Green, Dublin. Originally labelled 'D3 9, House of Lords, Ireland'. The slide shown a white marble statue of King George III in his parliamentary robes with the insignia of the Orders of the Bath St Patrick. Executed by J. Bacon Junior. It is on display in the House of Lords Chamber, formerly the Bank boardroom where the throne was once seated. The walls are decorated with dark wooden panels with a diamond shaped coffer domed roof.
