Lantern slide of an illustration of the old Custom House, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with label 'D3VII 98.' Depicts an illustration of the old Dublin Custom House, situated beside Essex (now Grattan) Bridge. The illustration shows the custom house building facade with the river Liffey and several boats visible in front of it. An inscription on the slide reads 'The Custom House.' The old custom house was built in 1707 by Thomas Burgh and, before it was eventually demolished, was used as a barracks when the new custom house was built.
