Lantern slide of alter and stones at a sacred site on Inishbofin Island, Co. Galway. Originally titled '1. Alter & carved stones. Inishbofinne. MASON Optician. 5 Dame st Dublin' and labelled 'M1 42'. The exact location and purpose of the stones could not be determined but it is thought that the image was taken at the site of St. Colman's ruins, which serve as the location for both the church and the monestary.
