Lantern slide of Poulawack Cairn in Co. Clare. Originally labelled '3:77' and titled 'POULAWACK TUMULUS CAIRN A. Carroll Rare of 16 Merrion Square, North.' The Cairn is located in the Burren. Multiple people were burried within the cairn until its excavation. This image depicts the Cairn before its excavation in the 1930's. In the image multiple men can be seen on or by the cairn with what appear to be spades.
The cairn was surveyed by Thomas J. Westropp in the early 1900s.
