Depicted is the Pillar of Coad, also known as the Coad Standing Stone, with Dr. George Unthank Macnamara of Corofin standing to the left. There are a number of legends that speculate in relation to te height of The Coad Stone. One legend claims that the stone was the same height as King Teige Acomhad O Brien about 1460.
