Descrição

Lantern slide of the exterior of the Irish Houses of Parliament, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels 'D3 VIII 45' and 'Parliament House before the fire'. Depicts an illustration showing the Irish House of Commons entrance on the South side of the Parliament House (Bank of Ireland) building designed by architect Edward Lovett Pearce. The architectural elevation shows the dome that was destroyed by fire in the 1790s. The House of Commons chamber was rebuilt by 1796 without the dome.
