Lantern slide of illustrated castle plan, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued as "3D XI 18" with label "Rocques 1756". Depicts a plan of the 'The original form of the Castle.' It is an outline of the original form of Dublin Castle, including the four corner towers, moat and drawbridge. The plan was drawn by the, eminent surveyor and cartographer, John Rocque. Rocque published six maps of Dublin city and surrounding county between, 1756 and 1762.
