Description
Lantern slide of the Grand Central Hotel, Belfast. Originally labeled 'D2 3' and 6.3'with title 'Belfast Grand Central Hotel G. P. O.' Built around 1892, this luxurious hotel boasted 200 bedrooms. The site was orignally intended to be a central station for railways serving the city. The hotel remained in business until the 1960's, when it was closed due to bombings in the city. Samuel Stevenson is the arhitect responsible for the building.
