Description

Lantern slide of St. Douglagh's Well, CO. Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 II 71' and without a title. The well lies 170 ft. to the north of the church, and is a two-storied octagonal building. On the south side is a square-headed door, and on the other 3 sides are cross-shaped openings. The building is surrounded by a court, about 5 ft. below the level of the field, and is accessed by steps. Three men can be seen in the slide exploring the well.
