Description

Lantern slide of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 II 20' and without a title. The cathedral, whose history spans over 800 years, has an impressive collection of around 200 monuments. During the 18th and 19th century there were numerous memorials erected in the cathedral. These include Dean Henry Dawson (first on the left), James Whiteside (right) and of the Marquess of Buckingham. There are busts on display in the slide, along with a memorial plaque.
