Lantern slide of an interior in Iveagh House, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels "Iveagh House 1730" and "D3XI" and "47." Depicts a close-up view of a ceiling in Iveagh House. An inscription on the image reads 'No. 80 St. Stephen's Green (part of Lord Iveagh's House)- Ceiling in Drawing Room.' No. 80 was designed by Richard Cassels in 1736 and later combined with No. 81 when they were both bought by Benjamin Guinness in 1862. The building was donated to the Irish State in 1939 by Guinness's grandson and renamed Iveagh House.
