Lantern slide of Allenton House, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels "Allenton House Leask" and "D3XI 88." Depicts a view of Allenton House's facade. The house is in ruinous condition in the image, a several broken windows are visible. A cow, sleeping on the front lawn, can also be seen. Allenton House, located near the Killininny Tower, was an early 18th century building, named for its former resident Sir Timothy Allen (Lord Mayor of Dublin 1762-1763. The house was demolished in 1984.
