Опис
Lantern slide of an architectural drawing of Powerscourt House (known now as Powerscourt Centre), South William Street, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued with labels "Powerscourt Ho. Leask" and "D3XI 80." Depicts a drawing of Powerscourt House's facade. In the 18th century the building served as Lord Powerscourt's townhouse, now a city shopping centre. A note on the drawing reads "Front elevation." Elevation is a term used in architectural plans, meaning the facade. An elevation is also a flat representation of one side of a building.
