Description

Lantern slide depicting a print by James Malton in 1793. Malton was an engraver who died in 1803. The print depicts Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, which was built between 1752 and 1759, of Irish granite with Portland stone dressings (see the National Library of Ireland online catalogue). Horses and carriages and people walking in groups can be seen in the foreground. Originally catalogued as 'D3 VIII, 57' with no further labelling.
