Lantern slide of plaster detail, Co. Dublin. Originally catalogued as "D3 VI 47", with no further label. Depicts a detail of a plaster ceiling decorated with the image of Apollo chasing the nymph Daphne in the moment that she transforms into a tree. The depiction of these figures is based on Gian Lorenzo Bernini's sculpture of Apollo and Daphne inspired by Ovid's Metamorphoses.
