Description

Lantern slide of Kilbarrack church and graveyard, Co. Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 II 97' and with the title ' Kilbarrick Ch Yard Howth.' It is reported that an early church was founded on this site by St. Berach in the 6th century. The building we see today is the ruins of the Chapel of Mone which dates from the 12th/early 13th century. The ruins are located at the southeast side of the graveyard.
