Description

Lantern slide of a drawing of doorways. Originally labeled 'D3 III 78' and with the title 'Early'. The drawings can be found in the Georgian Society Records, Vol. 1 plate 14a. They are by J. H. Morrison and T. M. Deane, A.R.H.A. The upper part of the doors are the focus of the drawing. These type of doorways are simple in design and their materials were eventually replaced by different varieties of stone.
